Blank screen / login issues

If everything works fine and you can see the MyWebSQL login prompt in your browser, then you are well on your way to a smooth user experience. However, sometimes you might get a blank screen, or strange display in the browser instead of the login prompt. Here are few things you can try to sort out this problem:

  • Delete cookies for the MyWebSQL url/path in your browser (specially if you have upgraded from a previous version), then try reloading the page to see if you can see the login screen.
  • [Only for version 3.4 and below] Delete .htaccess file from the root of MyWebSQL installation folder. If you can successfully use MyWebSQL, it means there is some configuration problem with your web server (usually apache). Refer to the web server manual for more information.
